Relief Concert for the Children and Families of Darfur sponsored by MUSEAID. http://www.museaid.org
On June 18, from 7-9pm at the Zeitgeist Gallery, 1353 Cambridge St., Cambridge MA, three bands will come together, donate their time and transform the muse to help the victims in the Darfur region in the war torn area of northern Sudan.
All proceeds of this event will be donated to Unicef, which is well organized in this effort. (None of the donations will be used to cover production costs.)
…and the music? “Original alternative Jazz/Rock with Folk,Pop, and some Roots American tendencies.”
