UBUNTU is a five piece ensemble with an emphasis on sharing and colaboration. The band features five distinct composers and all are represented. The band includes Evan Mazunik on keyboard instruments, Alex Foote on guitars, Rick Stone on saxophones, J. Frederick on drums and electronics and Jay Foote on basses. The aim of the ensemble is to play music with soul, without ego and create an awareness of the moment through a blend of creative song writing and spontaneous improvisations.
