A special bridge between local performers and the youth they teach will be made at this all-ages SVENGALI CABARET event. Vocalist Gretchen Elise, spoken word artist Walnut, Jenny the Juggler and other teaching artists mix with the students they work with, including middle school student drummers from Cambridge and Boston, for an evening of generation-blending, music and pizza.

Svengali Cabaret is a monthly performance series on the last Tuesdays of every month from 7:00-8:30 at Zeitgeist Gallery which presents an eclectic mix of performance styles not often seen in the same event. The series was started in the 90’s by opera singer Andrew Alexander and continues with the guidance of jazz/world vocalist Anita Coelho’s Medici Musica.
