LEO STEVENS` JAZZ REPORT ~ Hammond Organ Group

Leo Stevens - drums: worked with Johnny “Hammond” Smith, Don Patterson, Larry Young, John Patton. Recorded many albums with Smith for Prestige and Riverside. Played with Bud Powell, Charlie Parker, Sonny Rollins, Clifford Brown.

Cecil Brooks - trumpet: Currently working with Sun Ra Arkestra. (TBC)

Toby Stein - organ: Played saxophone with local R&B bands Little Joe Cook, Weeping Willie and local jazz groups. Swiched to organ 1995.

Mike Duke - guitar: musical director for Johnny Adams, currently working with Bombay Jim and the Saphires.

Kurtis Rivers - tenor sax: worked with Roxbury Blues Aesthetic, Frank Lacy, Joe Bonner, currently with the Either Orchestra.
