Two young musicians from the New England Conservatory and a west coast
transplant by way of Wheaton College dip into the intricate chordal patterns
of Wayne Shorter, weave their way through the melodic standards of Cole
Porter, and stretch out on their own compositions and flights of
improvisational fancy. The Jazz Journeymen take an early evening stroll on
the wild side of jazz.
