Gill Aharon presents
PIANO FEST III!

A Gallery fundraiser organized by Gill Aharon and featuring on piano Donal Fox, David Maxwell, Marc Rossi, Kristina Sanduval, Matt Savage, Bob Moses, Dan Tepfer, and many many more!

The Zeitgeist Gallery, graced by excellent acoustics and an ever present perfectly tuned 7-foot grand piano, has its resident pianist Gill Aharon to thank for organizing this outstanding annual event. He is passionate about celebrating Boston’s piano culture and the Zeitgeist’s key role in fostering and sustaining that culture. This year Aharon has created a showcase of the following pianists (some of whom are not necessarily known as such):
Donal Fox, Kristina Sanduval, Leo Genovese, Matt Savage, David Maxwell, Bob Moses, Marc Rossi, Dan Tepfer, Aruan Ortiz, Bert Seager, Ayn Inserto, Manisha Shahane, James Merenda, Gabriel Guerrero, Elan Mehler, Seth Kaufman, Tyler Wood, Dean Marcellana, Kyle Ito, Vanessa Morrison, Michael MacLaughlin, Harold Fortuin, Wes Mathews, Andy McWain, Jaques Chanier, Mandy Wong, Alon Nechushtan, Gordan Beeferman, Bruce Katz, Ben Schwendener, Danny McNamara, Steve Lantner, Josh Rosen, David Rumpler, Pablo Ablanedo, Cormac, John MacDonald, Gill Aharon and more. Some of the other musical talents participating in the Festival are George Garzone and Daniel Blake. Since the Festival also serves as a fundraiser for the Gallery, all of the musicians are donating their time for the cause.

Aharon has structured the Piano Festival in such a way as to appeal to all different ages and tastes. A festival pass will allow each audience member to come and go as they wish. And as an added incentive, live recordings will be made available immediately after each performance. Up-to-date scheduling information is posted on Aharon’s personal website at http://gillaharon.com.

The non-profit Zeitgeist Gallery, located in a national historic building registered as Cambridge’s oldest functioning commercial structure, serves as a community clearinghouse for a variety of innovative, disparate and often underrepresented voices in music, poetry, performance and visual art. The Gallery’s annual piano festival serves as a fundraiser to help defray costs associated with maintaining the building and the Gallery’s programs. Recently, The Improper Bostonian honored the Gallery with its “most fun you’ll have looking at art” award.
