JORGE PEREZ-ALBELA:
Born in Lima Peru, moved to Boston in 1994 to attend the Berklee College of Music. He has performed and recorded with Grammy nominee Eva Ayllon, Gian Marco. Also with singers Tania Libertad and Fabiola De La Cuba. Saxophonist Eli Degibri (Herbie Hancock), pianist Leo Blanco. Bassist Oscar Stagnaro, pianist Albert Sanz and Rusty Scott, saxophonist Javier Vercher, trumpeters Jason Palmer and Peter Kenagy, and with the band Surca. Currently leads his own group, exploring the sounds of his native Peru and the language of Jazz.
