THE ORDER OF THE ARTISTS: a solstice revel!

The OA is a new multimedia ensemble that promotes art as the highest expression of divinity and regards performance as ritual. They perform ecstatic ritualistic events. This performance in celebration of the Solstice is a 30 minute high energy sun ritual that will be performed several times throughout the day.

The performance of the sun ritual will take place at 9AM, 12PM, 3PM, and then 3 consecutive performances at 6PM, 7PM, 8PM. The ritual is 30 minutes long of high energy multimedia performance emulating the energy of the sun featuring music with lots of percussion, vocals, electronica, spoken word, dance, video and photography. Joining the OA will be Jonathon Screnci on drums (Blue Man Group), and Video Artist Gene Preble.
