$7 (Suggested Donation)

Pete Galub & the Annuals (www.boygonewrong.com)
The Brooklyn-based Pete Galub and his bandmates, Chris
Moore (formerly of Negative Approach) and Tom Gavin,
make fragile rock music that embraces pop/punk
sensabilites and improvisation. Echoes of Chris Bell,
Pete Ham, Syd Barrett and Gene Clark abound. The band
will play songs from Pete’s album “Boy Gone Wrong”, a
self-released CD which has received positive reviews
from Time Out NY and the Village Voice and heavy
airplay on WFMU.

Chirs Moore (www.mooresong.com)
Chris’ musical career began in Detroit at the ripe age
of 15. He was the drummer in the seminal hardcore
band Negative Approach. Now a resident of Brooklyn,
Moore has released 3 albums and won awards for his
songwriting.

PRESS
“I’ve been listening to the forlorn Galub for about a
year now, and how did I miss connecting him to Leonard
Cohen? He’s a fine songwriter, who creeps up on you
(heís gotta stop doing that). Catch him before he
catches you.” - the Village Voice
“‘Boy Gone Wrong’ is an evocative, tuneful debut. Pete
Galub’s voice resonates with a candor that reflects a
curious psyche swirling within. Intelligent
arrangements, too. A very impressive accomplishment.”-
Irwin Chusid, WFMU

“Galub’s songs echo familiar country and power-pop
models without sounding too indebted to a single
source, and each makes room for small melodic and
structural surprises… for anyone susceptible to the
melancholy charms of the genre, “Boy Gone Wrong” goes
right more often than most. - TIME OUT NY (Franklin
Bruno)

“There’s something far more perverse to his character
than his youthful yelp, which adds a mysterious
underbelly to Boy Gone Wrong that’s well worth
checking out. Sharp melodies, piercing vocals and a
truly unique identity make this the kind of album on
which you can judge strangers; if they dislike it,
just sleep with them and move on.” -Splendidezine.com
