In the tradition of Ornette Coleman, John Zorn and others, Modus features tight arrangements, free-wheeling improvisations and deep grooves. Accordingly, Modus appeals to both hardcore jazz fans as well as rock fans with an ear for the unusual. Modus is touring the northeast in support of their recently recorded debut, “Intersection”, available from Optical Sounds Entertainment (opticalsounds.com).
