For several years, the Gloucester artspace had been the destination for North Shore residents looking for their fill of giant nautical puppets, free art classes and a vast spectrum of affordable live music. A void was felt when fire code violations forced it to cease musical performances in Feb of 2002. Fortunately, thanks to the hard work and dedication of Shep Abbott, a new space has been found, the only catch being that it lacks a heating system and adequate bathroom facilities. In order to lighten the financial burden, the Zeitgeist Gallery had decided to host a benefit.
