The circus sextet Beat Science is back to perform their “Music For Funerals”
program on October 25th at the Zeitgeist Gallery. This is a 45-minute set
of New Orleans dirges and arrangements for sextet. On this show Beat
Science features two special guests, the adventurous cellist Karen Langlie
of the Sob Sisters and Incus…and former Beat Science tubist Mike Roylance,
formerly of Sam Rivers’ Rivbea Orchestra and recently moved to Boston, sits
in on tuba for Mr Caswell. Mike Roylance is tubist for the Boston Symphony
Orchestra.
