New Power Trio has been a favorite of club, college, and festival audiences since the 1999 release of their first CD. Innovative hand percussionist Mark Suter (a member of Yo Yo Ma’s Silk Road Project and Brazilian group) juggles world grooves with a sense of discovery and funk that bassist John Crooks and pianist Nate Shaw weave into a unique and progressive piano trio sound.
