capacity for wonder tonight in Inman Square as we screen a series of
³thriller² reels targeted at the home-movie audience in the in the
1940ıs-50ıs. No trick photography, just lots of madcap daredevils putting
their lives on the line in return for your awestruck attention. Human
Cannonballs, tightrope-walkers, and automotive death-wishers combine with
some sports prodigies in this medley of WONDER! The program will also
include a few animated offerings from the 1930’s, including “Mickey Saves
the Airmail” (1933) and a Flesicher Bros toon from the same era, “Peeping
Penguins.”
