Visionsong Collaborative, in association with the Zeitgeist Gallery, is pleased to present │Illusion of Motion - a concert of improvised music and dancing, . The performance will feature Pat Donaher on woodwinds, Camille Jentgen on piano, Eric Platz on drums and Nicole Rider dancing.

The concert will be a spectacle of sight and sound, with the music and the movement playing back and forth, each leading, following and gaping in astonishment. All four artists bring a wealth of experience and ability to the group. Donaher has been called │a talent worth watching - by Cadence magazine, and has performed with artists as diverse as Steve Vai, Joe Henderson and Bernard Haitink. Jentgen is an award-winning composer and pianist. Platz is best known locally for his work with the critically acclaimed jazz group Four Minus One. And Rider is building a reputation for improvised dance with performances around Boston, notable at the Fishlung piano series at the Zeitgeist.
