THE EYESORES- The Eyesores make slow, simmering music, noirish dirges,
sometimes high lonesome yodeling ballads, and Weimar-style cabaret songs.
The Eyesores have released two CDs and one split 7-inch single. Probably or
possibly playing with the Eyesores tonight will be:

Alec K. Redfearn - accordion and vocals
Margie Wienk - string bass, cello, and vocals
Matt Everett - Viola
Alec Thibodeau - Guitar
Jeff Knoch - Farfisa Organ
Matt McLaren - Drums

FERN KNIGHT- One reviewer described the music of Fern Knight (Margie Wienk,
Michael Corcoran, and sometimes Alec K. Redfearn) as: “folk-noir with a
high spook factor from the woods of Providence…infinitely lonely tissue
paper singing…with the devil of the blues in [Wienk’s] throat…a
mournful cello saws its way through the ears directly into one’s heart.”

ADRIAN CROWLEY, a self-taught guitarist from Dublin, sings disparate songs
with a deep, gentle voice, and writes touching ballads with a sensitive
flair. His second record and first US release, “When You Are Here You Are
Family,” was recorded in Chicago with Steve Albini and Crowley’s band.
Adrian draws his own intricate spell, choosing subtlety and eloquence over
cheap dramatics. His first release, “A Strange Kind,” will be domestically
released this fall by Ba Da Bing! Records (the home of Greg Weeks, Bright,
Landing, and Yume Bitsu).
