JARROD FOWLER : For this evening’s show, we are proud to present the talents of this amazing artist. By manipulating the properties of bits of organic materials and other seemingly mute debris, this mastermind is capable of summoning the most sublime sounds.
LISA BUFANO : Following the music, we will be screening some of the fine animated video productions created by the talented Lisa Bufano. Bizarre dolls are brought to life in these brilliantly executed featurettes.
LAUREL KIRTZ : Laurel will deliver a lecture for us this evening that she promises will be thoroughly unacceptable.
MYSTERY FILMS : To end off the evening, Doctor Selenium will demonstrate more cinematic monstrosities from his secret vaults. Don’t resist us! Come and join the debacle!
The Unacceptable: a series for music and visuals too volatile for the conventional performance space. Live music, performance, sound construction, dance, film, video and puppetry integrate into a provocative, unified production. The maelstrom strikes every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at Zeitgeist.
